Fished by myself the morning of  4/9/21.The owner and his dog stopped by to say hello as I was getting ready and pointed out an eagle that was crusing past the lake. A nice talk but then on the fishing. Caught 37 bass the largest went 4 lbs and only 6 were under 14”. I started catching immediately at the launch area and stayed on them until 10:30 when the wind picked up and the strikes slowed down to five fish in the last 1 ½ hr.. The bass were not on the spawning beds like they were nine days ago but still close by and very aggressive. Used flukes,lizards,worms ,wtless yum dingers and wacky rigs. Stayed with watermelon/seed and pumpkin/chrt.

The crappie that were up around the spawning beds with the bass on my last trip were gone. I caught a personal high of 30 last trip and fell back to my standard of zero this trip.
