Excellent day at Tara. Between the two of us we caught in excess of 70 fish. 12 of those were very large crappies caught on brown wacky worm and green Senkos.  The largest fish caught was 8 + lbs a personal best for Mike (excellent job). Very few small fish were caught, most of what we caught was in the 3 to 5 lb range. FIsh were primarily caught along the dam, brush pile by the dam on the north end as well as the other end of the lake. The large brush pile on the west side of the lake was very productive. Other fish were caught fishing the edges of the lake. Lures used were mainly pumpkin green senkos, brown worms wacky rigged and top water. When the wind died down towards later in the afternoon we had great success with top water (Whopper Plopper and Frog) at the shallow end of the lake near the creek.
