Fished Lakota on Good Friday.   Took advantage of the 4 for 1 special and got on the lake at 7:30 and fished until 2:00 pm.  Weather was mid 40’s at start and up to 70 by the time we left.   Sunny all day.   Beautiful property and we could see fish rising as soon as we got there.   Two of us used the club Jon boat while the other 2 used kayaks.   Nothing for the first hour (?) then picked up a few on top water and plastics.  Slow all day and nothing bigger than one 3 pounder.   Took a break for lunch and then back at it.   Caught probably a dozen after lunch and maybe 30 total for the day between the 4 of us with a lot of dinks.   My buddy hooked into a big one near the dam that threw hook when he jumped out of the water….....probably went 4-5 pounds.   We tried lots of soft plastics, beetle spins, senkos, Ned rigs, rattle traps, deep diving rapalas…...everything we had in our tackle boxes.   There are big fish in there, we just couldn’t entice them today.
