Fished with my 7-yr old today. Of course that brings a number of challenges within itself, but I wouldn't trade it for anything.
I picked this location to bank fish with him thinking it would be good for numbers.  Unfortunately that wasn't the case this time around, but I know the potential is there.  We did land and harvest two small bass that bit my weightless Yum dingers. A couple of others were missed including one that took advantage of a drag system gone haywire on his Abumatic. That fish hit a wacky-rigged Zoom trickworm.

The wind was certainly a factor, and with limited access to some areas with him in tow, we made the best of the few places we could cast. The water was akin to chocolate milk.  We will return knowing this is a decent place to get those green fish and maybe some slabs on the end of his line.
