Fished Deer Trail on 3/10. The day started out relatively calm with partly cloudy skies and water temps. in the mid 50’s. The calm conditions ended about 8:30 when the wind started increasing and gusted to 30 mph. the rest of the day. Started catching fish immediately and continued off and on until we left around 3:00. Total fish caught was 52 with the largest 4.5 and loaded with eggs. All were quality with no dinks encountered. This is a quality lake which will no doubt continue to improve. Threw a little bit of everything but the top producers were Brush Hogs and lipless Cranks.
