Beautiful lake and bright sunny day with lots of wind warming up from 44 degrees to 57 degrees. I did not use the owner’s pontoon boat at any time during the day because of the high winds which were reported to be 17 mph with higher gusts. Their dock is extremely nice, safe and roomy, and I fished from it for the entire day excluding a lunch break to nearby town.  I met the owner who was very friendly and knowledgeable.  I only caught one fish, but it was a very healthy 20 inch LMB which jumped a number of times.  In the early morning I fished around and under the deck for bluegills with my flyrod and a light spinning gear setup, but I was unsuccessful—water temp may still be a little low for them.  I then switched to my bass poles, casting all around the dock.  I caught my only bass on a cast to the shore from the farthest-out part of the dock which brought the Chatterbait with a Zoom black/red glitter craw in slowly as adjacent to side of the dock as I could achieve in the wind.
