The sea was definitely angry that day my private water fishing friends. Windy and COLD. Dark skies said it was gonna be 65 when I booked and it was 40 before windchill and the rain sprinkle. I took my son and he smartly decided to stay in the car and read instead. I caught a sub quarter pounder from the bank on a lure from the 1950s, the didn’t catch another. I fought the wind and tried my luck on the lake, but it wasn’t my day.

I love to fish this lake but as you noted, the slope of the property is such that, when the north wind blows, you feel it full force! Many are the winter days I have been skunked at Weston. It is still one of my favorites!
