First time to this lake and what a pretty drive to the lake and what a pretty lake.  Lake was covered with fog when I got there about 7:15 am and burned off by about 9.  Had a really good time on this beautiful lake today. It was cold when I started - about 40 degrees - but warmed up to about 65 in the afternoon.  Thanks to previous reports I was able to find a few fish by the big lay down tree close to the power lines and along the dam.  Ended up with 10 bass with 3 culls and 2 bream.  Basically no wind most of the day and the lake was like a mirror and reflected the surrounding pines like something out of a postcard.  Biggest bass was only around 2.25 or so but all were fun on the fly rod.  Nothing on top today - all but two of the bass were caught on a black wooly bugger with rubber legs and the other two came off a clouser.  Can't wait to fish this place in the spring.
