Doug and I fought a cold north wind; but still had a great time fishing Dogleg. This new property is GORGEOUS. The lake appears to be down about 10 feet; but, the water is "gin clear". Fish that we caught were small ( under 14 inches ) but, very healthy. Green plastic worms and lizards worked best. We caught and removed 12 fish. Since we live in Boerne, Doug and I intend to make lots more trips to the Dogleg, once it warms up a little and the wind settles. Also, check out the fire pit in the picnic area….I'd love to slap a couple of RibEyes on that grill !!!!
