I fished Pecan Gap from 11 to 5 with no success.

When I arrived the water temperature was 48, the air temperature 58, the sky partly cloudy with a steady 10 mph south wind. There were 50-75 ducks on the southern end with several raptors wheeling lazily over head. The water is clear with a visibility of 5-6 feet, the vegetation being coon tail and some filamentous algae in the shallower parts of the pond. 

In short, I had absolutely no strikes. I fished the structure (which is very plentiful), the central deep areas and the banks without finding any fish. In fact, I could not locate fish on my electronics, even in the structure. 

Beautiful day on the lake in spite of the fishing.
