Total Fish/Sizes : 5 bass up to about 3lbs
Lures Used : Mostly lipless cranks

We tried the boat, but the wind was too strong.  Our anchor would not hold us enough to allow casting. We returned to the dock and fished from there for about 3 hours. We landed 5 bass total, along with a couple of crappie and a catfish. One bass was on a chatterbait, and the catfish hit a Googan swimbait.  The rest were all caught in a narrow time window on chrome lipless cranks when the sun appeared briefly.

I am sure the cold front didn't help our chances today, but I can't complain. I took a friend as his first PWF experience. He doesn't fish too much, so he was pleased with the day (making it all worth it). He caught a nice bass about 3lbs and lost another even bigger that went under the dock and cut his line on the edge.  I saw one bass swim by the dock for a second as I was bringing in another bass that would go 8+ easily, so I look forward to returning in the spring and targeting a bigger bite.  I know this property has them.
