I bank fished Lake TCU from 9-5, landing 11 LMB with a jerk bait being the big winner.

When I arrived the air temp was 46 and the water temp about 52. The fish were sluggish until noon when, with the warming sun they became more active. The sky was clear and the wind 5-10 from the west. The water is green tinged and clear with a visibility of 4-5 feet. There is quite a bit of submerged coon tail remaining in the lake.

Five fish were caught on jerk baits, three on small swim jigs and three on crank baits. No activity on jigs or T-rigged worms or craws or top water.

I visited with Mr Nix for about 20 minutes. He and his family are doing well and are very happy that we enjoy fishing his property.

As the sun was setting, three para-sailers flew over at 50 feet and circled the lake several times, a fitting end to a very good day at the lake.

Happy Thanksgiving to all.
