Gorgeous property. In water around 9 and battled the wind all AM. 1st fish landed on west bank around 11:30. Went into town to grab lunch and return for picnic. Wind died down. Started hitting the damn and pulled 2 in. My 8yo pulled the 4 lber in towards the end. About a minute after the water started blowing up with what I assume were catfish. All over between the feeder and dock. 4pm roughly. Kicking myself for not throwing the fly rod in the boat. Steady surface eats for 20 mins. I threw on a popper and 1st cast was hit then spit. A few others rolled right by it but never scored one.
