I took a client to fish Angel like on Nov 6th and it is a beautiful small lake. We had beautiful weather in the low 70's with 8-10 mph wind. This lake is covered in vegetation   which makes fishing anything non weedless almost impossible. We showed up at 7:30 am and fished until 4:00 breaking for lunch at Still Smokin BBQ in Abbot ( it is really good). We only managed 11 total with two culls around 10-12 inches. The biggest being 2.25 lbs. the water is very clear and from the John boat we were able to spot several bigger bass just couldn't entice them out of the thick mats. We met the property owner who is a really nice guy, and said he is in the process of getting grass carp put in to help the over growth. All in all an absolutely beautiful day on the this PWF property!
