Took three of my grandkids to TCU Lake. They have all had the good experience to meet Dub in the past and the fishing has always been excellent. This would make my fourth trip there. We fished soft plastics throughout the day and in all caught 42 bass. The odd thing is that we harvested 26 of them. The culls were mostly in the 8-10 inch range. We had never caught that small a fish on the property before. It had been since spring that I was there last so they must have had a sensational spawn to see so many small fish show up. The bass that were returned were in the 2.5 to 3.5 pound range similar to what we've caught before. A majority of small fish but a great day for all involved. Most enjoyable time with my grandkids!
