Wife and I fished Boren Lake on Wednesday a.m.  Lots of grass but plenty of open water to fish.  Started out with the two successful baits used the day before at Flying M which resulted in no bites in the first 20-30 minutes.  Mr. Boren stopped by to visit and soon came back with Shakyhead hooks and 4 in. white swim baits.  Rigged us both up and Lesa had one on within 30 seconds. Worked really well in the grass.  Not continuous action, but enough to keep us interested.  Wind make it somewhat tough to navigate, but we caught most of the fish along the south and east sides where there was some relief. Not much in the way of size today, but with all of the structure beneath the surface, any cast could be a good fish.  Thanks to Mr. Boren for the help and for sharing his knowledge of the lake and PWF for securing this property.
