When we pulled up to the launch, we were greeted by a swarm of at least a million hungry mosquitoes. I have NEVER seen that many at one time! They covered us from head to toe... I will make skin so soft or Off, part of my "must have" when packing. The good news is, we couldn't have picked a better day. This place was love at first sight! The bass were equally as hungry as the mosquitoes, they hammered full sized brush hogs in dark colors. Almost all were caught at the ends of the lake in the heaviest timber. All of my years of fishing in this stuff paid off. Twenty (+) nice solid bass, between 1.5 and 2.75 lbs. Lost a couple at the boat and one that broke my line that may have topped 3.5 lbs. I will be back!!!
