First time at this beautiful property.  We arrived on location around 9:30am and fished until mid-afternoon.  The lake was very low given no recent rains for this area.  The landowner was very helpful on tips where to fish and offered us use of the club boat.  The lake lived up to its reputation of being challenging but it was a great weather day and we enjoyed having lunch under the nice covered area with a cool breeze.

Terry,

Was there enough water to use the boat ramp?

Thank you

Steve, club boat on the lift was probably useable according to the landowner as the dock is out in about 5-6 ft of water but the cement boat ramp looked like you could maybe only launch a kayak from it vs a jon boat as the water level was at the very bottom of the cement ramp and it looked like to us the water level would usually be about half way up the ramp.  The landowner said the lake got no recent rains and also had little to no rain during the entire summer.

Thank you Terry. Was thinking about fishing there next week. That means the water level is really low. Very little deep water there. Deepest I found was about nine feet in the channel up where the creeks enter. May try Brushy Creek in Kyle.
