I fished the new property in the afternoon on Saturday. What a great day! I caught a total of 18 fish although it could have been more. I probably lost count. The last fish of the day was 7 lbs! The other fish were 5.5 lbs, 4.5 lbs, 3.5 lbs, and several at 3 lbs. or over. The red shad worm, water melon seed lizard, and ivory rattle bait caught fish, with the red shad worm being the most productive. These fish were some of the best fighters I've experienced. All were fat and healthy. It took me a little while to adjust to the lake because it is deep and clear, which is different from most club lakes. The lake is just as described on the website. I met the landowner, Joe, and he is a real nice guy and excited about PWF and improving the lake. This is a great addition to the club.
