The property is beautiful.  Cows, calves, a donkey.  Three potential boats to use so I didn't have to use my own, and I could bring 1-2 other friends with me next time. Better than a Jon boat, the Bass Raider boats are more stable and easy to launch.  I'll be back here for sure.  I didn't throw anything at the two small ponds (if I had time I would have...there's got to fish in there).

This pond has some deep points near long ends, and I thought that might be where the fish would be, but as the wind laid down later in the morning, an I hadn't had a nibble on a real worm, crank baits, Mepps spinner and a mr twister, I noticed that the fish seemed to be surface feeding...a swirl here and there...so I threw out a top water (heddon tiny torpedo) and BANG, landed a nice 17" LM bass and had the treat of a top water hit.  I decided to make a round of the perimeter and it worked.  The weather has been crazy so I knew it was going to be a hit or miss day.  I will be back!
