A buddy and I fished Trinity Lakes on Friday. We caught 35 from 10” to 2 1/2 lbs. We started on Arrowhead about 6:30 AM and landed approximately 6 on topwaters while walking the dam. We walked over to Goose and landed another 4 but only had the plastics that we had tied on. Then fished Comanche and gave Arrowhead another shot before getting beat by the heat. Probably a Z-Craw Jr in either watermelon or green pumpkin flash were most productive and topwater frog in the early AM. Water was 84* and clear (and mossy) on Arrowhead, murky on Goose, and about 30” viz on Comanche. We really enjoyed our time on Trinity Lakes and had a great day for late August!
