Fished Black Hat with a guest Sunday afternoon in the heat and wind. Fish were def scattered but we did get on a group in the pocket on the southwest corner and then made a few trips down the dam picking up a few each time. Broke one off in the grass which is pretty thick in some places but that's where they were relating to the edges. Around 7PM decided to try the shallows between the islands and got big fish of the day 4.4lbs, then missed a big blowup on a frog headed back to the dock on the west bank. Caught 2 nice 4+ lb catfish too, all in all a pretty good outing.
