Saturday evening was blistering hot with no breeze. The fish would not chase anything. Swim jigs, rattle trap, Tx rigged worm did not work. Same thing Sunday morning, although it was much cooler. The only thing they took was watermelon red senko worms fished on the bottom. Zero bites on the north and west shores or on the brush piles. 2 bass caught on the west side of the pier and 2 between the 2 PVC markers on the far southeast side of the lake. 3 of 4 bass looked sickly/underweight for their length. We caught probably 50 perch under the dock using corn which was a load of fun. What looked like a 6-7 pound bass took one of the perch we caught just as we got it up to the dock. The line broke as she swam out.
