Quite windy when we arrived at 4:30, but settled to a light breeze by about 6:00pm. Tried the islands first, but it was almost impossible to maneuver with troller due to heavy weeds. Zero action on the points, but 3 really nice bass (all in the 4 pound range) caught on brown siwmjig or watermelon green senko fishing the weedline near the dam. 2 really nice 1 to 2 lb bass off the pier on rattle trap and 2 just off the aerator closest to the pier. Early released about a 5lb channel cat caught on a rattle trap off the pier. Gun shots in the distance scared a young wild boar in the underbrush on the dam, which then woke up two beautiful does who spent the rest of the evening near the feeders. What a beautiful property!
