3 of us fished caught 50-55.  Our 2nd trip in 2 weeks. Today was slightly slower, more subtle bite by comparison, and evening top water was non existent. I focused on trying to catch a bigger fish than the 4 pounders that are a plenty by slowly fishing a jig/trailer in the deepest part of the lake. Caught about 4 or 5 that way, but still couldn't get anything over 4#.  First world problem, I know.  It did appear that a good number of the 3 to 4# fish seemed a bit skinny. Based on jaw size, seems like they should have weighed more than they did. Not sure if that's normal in the summer heat.  And speaking of heat, it was Africa hot that day.  Tip: bring your ultralite rig and some bread or corn and fish the blue gill off the boathouse (from shade) to take a break from the summer heat.
