Fished Malouf this morning from about 6:00 a.m. till noon.  Just a great morning on the water.  The wind was up just enough to keep me cool all morning but not blowing so hard I couldn't sling my bugs.  Picked up 5 bass on the early morning top water bite close to the launch area and in the cove just south of the launch area with a fly popping frog and the rest were caught with a homemade black ugly bugger and olive sclupin bunnies sort of all over the lake.  Caught some shallow and some out a little deeper in maybe 6 to 8 feet of water along the edge of weed lines where it starts getting deeper.  No big uns today but some nice 2+ pound bass and a few bream just for fun.  Ended up with 23 bass for the morning and I was a happy camper.  On the way home I had my first double double and a chocolate shake from In and Out in like three months - man was it good.
