Fellow member John Shepard and arrived separately at dawn and commenced fishing on a deadstill morning with an array of topwater, wake bait and shallow sq bills. Unfortunately the shallow bite never really materialized as we only landed 3 16" bass between us from 6 to 8am. Around 9am a slight breeze kicked from the south kicked in and enhanced the action for two hours where we collectively caught another 12 bass mostly in the 15 - 17.5" range (only one dink). Most of the action after 9am was had on Senko style baits rigged wacky, or neko style. A couple were caught on a lipless crank and a shakey head trick worm set up.

The tank is down about 5ft, the water was warm to the touch and the water stained with about 2ft of clarity. Minor submerged weeds are present and all of the action was had within 20ft of the shore around the entire main portion of the tank.

And as usual we enjoyed seeing Mr. Stanley during the morning session.
