Took the girlfriend out for a morning fishing session. Had high hopes for Malouf and it produced as expected. No wind in the morning, but we managed to find them deep. I was throwing a swimjig and she opted to use a texas rigged senko. Wind finally gave us a break from the sun but the bite, at least for me, faded some. Ended the day with 46 total, with a 25/21 split me/her. Big bass of the day weighed 3lb 5oz. Most of the fish were 2lb+, couple of under 14", all healthy looking today with quite a few fat bellies.

The grass is growing fast, still very easy to fish this property, but the shoreline and 20 yards out in areas is too grassy to fish anything except for topwater, and so clear most fish will spook before you can get close enough.

Excellent property, can't wait to come back.
