Fingerling
Lakota Lake is awesome. I fished with member Chris Massey under bluebird skies and scorching heat. Not the greatest of conditions but still managed to catch 14 LMB and thirty crappie in 6 hours of fishing. Not the epic trip reported by Steve Alexander last week, but still totally enjoyable at this beautiful property.
Fish were mostly in the 1.5 to 2lb range with three at 3 lbs. Sencos and rattle traps were the go to baits. No top water or Tx rigged worms worked.
Hope we can get back on a cloudy or light rain day sometime this summer. Great new property. Reminded me of Yates Place with much less Drivetime. Appreciate the diligent effort it took the make it possible Steve.
