We had an awesome fishing trip, I will let Angie provide the details................Phil Pruitt
Stayed Friday night in Pilot Point Texas about 15 miles from the lake. Phil and I found the lake easily on Saturday morning and started fishing very early before sunrise. The lake and sunrise proved to be nothing short of AMAZING! The owners were AMAZING as well. The fishing was AMAZING! The owners checked on us several times to make sure we had everything we needed to make the day as enjoyable as possible. The lake is well kept and manicured. The fish are big and fat and just AMAZING! This would be my go to lake if I were a member rather than a guest. I can't imagine another lake as accommodating but I hear there are plenty in the club. We used Z Craws, jigs, worms and enjoyed snacks, sandwiches and hydrated often while dealing with the hot conditions. The fishing was everything I hoped it would be. The owner brought me some inspect repellant when he found that I had gone through what I had brought. So nice of him.............They gave us a photo of themselves dressed in Santa and Mrs Claus outfits from a few years back. Why is the lake named TCU, they put their 3 children through college at TCU so now you know..........I can't wait to come back to this little piece of heaven very soon! They were so kind to my little chui wawa dog! Thank you for everything, so nice, polite and AWESOMELY AMAZING!

Phil / Angie / Wayne,
Great report. Congrats on another outstanding Pruitt adventure! I'm glad Craig & I didn't wear 'em out Friday and saved a "few" for you guys. Hopefully we left the club boat in good shape to set up your terrific day. As noted, we had a blast as well the day before (albeit half of your production). How big was the one Angie is holding and what did she hit?
By chance, did you catch one with a big blue senko hanging out of her mouth? Our only line breaker of the day (I should have re-tied sooner). The new covered dock is a good place to get out of the heat for a while.
Funny, you got the sunrise pic Saturday after my big orange moon pic, late Friday.
