Arrived at Black Jack Ranch around 7AM and fished until 11:20AM. Caught 7 with the smallest being around 12 inches and the largest fish around 4lbs. There was a lot of vegetation around the lake and visibility was probably a foot or less. I caught one on the frog and missed 4 others. Then I switched to a Texas rig and caught 6 more on the North East shoreline. All fish caught were very close to the bank and probably in 2 feet or less of water. I will say if you plan on fishing from the bank make sure you have the proper tackle to handle the vegetation. I found it easier to fish the Texas rig on the North East shoreline going from the dock to the North end of the lake versus fishing from the dock to the South end of the lake. I Really enjoyed the property and will be going back!
