Fished from noon to 4:00 at Rock Chimney on 5/28. Partly cloudy, warm, and the wind was just perfect. I fished every lure I had, and even used a buzz bait I found snagged on the old duck blind. Crank baits, rattle traps, spinners, frogs, top water, chatter baits, buzz baits, among others. But not a bite on anything but Texas Rigged worms. I caught all my fish on TRW, various colors. One dink, and the rest of the 12 bass were 1-3 lbs. Also hooked a couple of catfish out in the middle. Location varied from the edge of the weed bed out to the middle, all over the lake. Very light bite, but as always they were healthy and strong fighters. Mrs. Stanley stopped to say hi and wish me luck. They are such nice people!

Bryan,
Your afternoon experience matches what I have seen at Rock Chimney since it started seriously warming up this month. A chase-bait bite early is replaced almost totally by a worm-bite by early afternoon. Solid, healthy fish but quite a light bite.
