My wife and I fished Beaver pond Friday 5/23 half day.  She caught her 2nd 8 pound bass in as many trips on a green pumpkin senko near the dam, just off the edge of the pads.  We caught 2 others over 5 (5.6 and 5.7) and 12 between 2.5 and 4.  We stayed the night at the owners lodge, which made our outing feel like a real wilderness retreat weekend.  The ranch is immaculate, Beautiful woods, meadows and deer everywhere.  Craig started a fire in their new fire pit area and we made smores while watching the deer feed and even saw the largest shooting star we had seen in years.  Best part of the trip, the look on my wife's face after she caught her 2nd 8 pound bass in as many trips.  Worst part…My wife now wants to go with me every trip!!!
