Friday morning we went to Jones Lake in hopes of catching me some of those big blue gills and/or redear.  That did not happen.  We fished from 9 am until about noon and caught 10 little blue gills and removed 7 bass under 14 inches.  This is a very nice, very clear lake with lots of hydrila and cattails around the edges.  It appears you need to be able to take your time and fish so you can sneak up on them, but unfortunately the wind did not allow us that opportunity.  You could see the fish swirls every time we got near.  So at noon we called it quits, grabbed some lunch and went to see Alysha.
