Ron and I fished from 7:30 am to 5 pm. Total 32 bass and 5 crappie. top water action on popper and torpedo early, then switched to deeper baits, crankbait and soft plastics off dropoffs and deep channel. Later in afternoon, found a bite in the mid-lake straight out from the ramp and to the left, dragging cranks and spinners over and around deep weed beds, really the only consistent bite. Typically it was catching 2-3 fish in one area, then nothing and time to move.

Caught a few smaller schooling bass on crankbaits and spinners.

All but two were between 1.3 ad 3.5 lbs, healthy and good fighters with a lot of jumps. They were very aggressive on the bite, whether on top or deeper. We caught nothing on the dam, and we didn't try the extreme shallow end because of the heavy weed growth.

The water was as clear as I've seen it here, to depths of 5-7 feet, and was over the top of the docks. Despite the weeds, it was very fishable.
