My first cast of the morning yielded my largest fish of the day (a 20" / 4.03# bass) and I caught a 3# and a 2.5# on the next two casts.  I couldn't keep up that pace but landed a dozen bass (2#-3#) in 90 minutes.  All smiles!!  All hit rapidly moving baits just outside the weed line.  The fast fishing abruptly ended and I spent hours in the kayak circling the lake searching for obliging bass.  I fooled a few others with an underspin and a couple with a Z-craw but it was slow going.  No action at all in the creeks or the prominent point. The low water revealed a couple of stumps that I hadn't been aware of. I could see suspended fish on my graph but they weren't interested in what I offered.  Called it quits before the temperature became too oppressive.
