Boats good. Ponds not too mossy yet. The water is clearer than last year. The wind changed to from the N at 7 and they started bitting better.

I saw the very small fry and lots of them. Looked like a good sign for things to come. JJJ is the first place I went in 2007, there's been ups and down there and it look like a UP right now. The worms worked from 4-6, It was warm and I think the fish could feel the small cool front coming. The spinners and chatter baits work after the wind change. I only had 7 rods with me ;-) so I didn't try every thing. The only thing I didn't try was a square bill, a little mossy for that.

they might want some chase baits like spinner bait, chatter bait, square bills or traps. We added 14,000 shad two weeks ago!
