Had my first PWF experience Sunday.  Headed out to Bluebonnet Ridge for the afternoon.  Not having a trolling motor yet (appear to be none left in Dallas), the wind and algae made it virtually impossible to fish the big lake so I stuck to the smaller Mesquite Valley Lake for the afternoon.  Started at the dock and worked way around bank to the damn/road with no real luck.  Paddled the boat across to the spill over and used an anchor to work down the far bank.  Had a little better luck catching 4 LMBs on jigs and swim baits.  2 small, 1 pound and half and one good 3.5 lbs.  Beautiful property I'll go back to once I get a motor.
