Look into the mirror of previous reports on Lake TCU and you have mine, except I fished solo. Thanks to Kevin Fuller for the spinnerbait tip I started the day with a white and green trailer at 7 am. They ate it alive with smash mouth bites that these really strong fish have been noted for. I met Dub and fished till noon with 11 bass all keepers all in the 3-4 lb class. After a lunch break I tried a KVD 1.5 crankbait and caught a another nice fish on the 2nd cast. I stuck with the crankbait and ended the day at 5 pm with no fish in the last hour. Totaled 24 with just 2 under 14". Yes, I fought the wind all day but well worth the battle with great quality mean bass on the end of the line. My best spot was around the southern most little island, took 5 around it and lost a toad that spit out the crank there. The old dock delivered the 4.5 lb. on the spinner, it fought like a mad woman. A great day fishing, great host and land owner. I shall return.
