Got to the dock and the wind was howling. So we decided to start fishing from the dock. My grandson calls me over to the right side of the dock and there is a bait ball 10' to 12' across.  Just below the ball were Bass coming up into the ball feeding. The fry were about an inch in length and brown backs.  I figured bluegills but not sure. I told him to grab a rod with a fluke and toss it into the ball. Bam, fish on. The biggest fish of the afternoon came from underneath the ball.  We did decide to take the pontoon out as he wanted to drive.  We ended up by the dam in the southeast corner as it was the only protected area.  Caught some in that corner went back to dock and the ball was back and so were the Bass.  We had a fun afternoon fishing and watching some jack rabbits on the side of the hill. The lake is full and water crystal clear. My grandson remembered this lake as he helped me fertilize it years ago.
