Arrived at the lake at 9:00 and fished till 4:00. The fish were biting in the morning then shut off in the afternoon. As expected at this lake, quality fish were caught. 10+ fish over 4lbs. The best baits were weightless plastics, watermelon flukes and senkos. Also caught a few on silver Rat L Traps across points. After lunch we were only able to fish one bank because it was protected from the wind. Wind was blowing 20+ mph with white caps across most the lake. We caught 12 culls pretty much all coming off the bank across from the boat launch with a couple of 2.5-4lb fish mixed in. Bite really started to slow down and wind kept blowing so we decided to call if a day at 4:00. As other reports mentioned, all bites were pretty close to the bank. The big fish are certainly still biting at Waco Creek when the conditions are right.
