Fished lake TCU on Friday from 8:30-6 with my daughter.   Nice lake but no protection from the wind at all.  Caught 33 with 25 being over the slot and returned.  It was a great day to get out with my daughter. She caught a 5 lb bass within the first five minutes her PB, on a yellow magic popper. Most of the fish we caught were 3.5 lbs and were caught on green and whit senkos, we did catch a couple on spinner baits and a few on buzz baits.  The lake and facility is in great shape and taken care of well.  The owner came out to speak to me and see how things were going no less than 6 times, he really cares about this property.  He said within the next few months he was going to add some timber and try to get rid of some of the weeds that are getting really thick in parts of the lake.  The timber is greatly needed but this is a good lake to fish on a nice day only wish there was some sun and wind protection.
