Took my teenage grand daughters to Kickapoo on March 31st. Heavy rain the day prior and a 10 degree temp drop the day we went. Caught 21 bass. They were all in a foot of water or less. In most cases we'd cast our Z Man baits to the edge of the bank and gently ease them into the shallow water and thats where the bass would hit. Culled 15 and returned 6. Nothing larger than 3 pounds.
