Fished from about 8-2 at Bluebonnet. Supposed to start earlier, but the night before got the best of me.   Cold and wet start - muddy getting boat out.  Definitely would suggest galoshes rather than the tennis shoes I wore.   Healthy fish for sure - 3 fish in the big lake in the morning - all 3lbs/under.  I'm pretty rusty and there's a lot of algae and coontail (I think that's what it is) that gums up the trolling motor and most baits.   Best fish and strikes were deep water on a sinking spinner.   Fished the smaller pond as well and caught one there on a black spinner bait.  Property beautifully kept.  Only problem with this property is the fish are too smart.   I'm sure that's why I didn't catch more.
