The wife, son and I fished Pecan Gap this morning. We got on the water at about 7:30a and got off the water at 11:30a. Air temp started at around 50 degrees and was at 67 when we left. The sun was out and we had light winds 3-7 mph. Water clarity was probably 18-24".

During this time we boated 2 fish, one 7" LMB dinker (chartreuse weightless worm) and one good sized crappie (paddle tail swim bait) by my son.

What didn't work: senkos, craws, lizzards, creatures, flukes, spinners, cranks, hard swim bait, rooster tail, crappie jigs, top water plug, frogs, whopper plopper. Fished them in different colors, presentations and depths around all areas of the lake multiple times.

We did see a very big gold fish or coy. This thing has to be 12+ pounds, it is huge. It was skimming the surface looking for food.
