A guest and I fished from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm with about an hour break for lunch.  Fishing was slow, but before lunch we caught a smaller bass on a trick worm on the East end in the trees, this fish broke off right at the boat.  Later we caught a nice 3.5 lb bass on a shallow running crank bait on the north side just passed the dam.  After lunch we caught one just over 14 inches and one at 4 lbs along the bank on the south side both on wacky worms.  These were all great looking fish that fought hard.  My guess is that as the weather warms up the fishing will pick up quickly.  All in all, it was great day on a beautiful pond.  Looking forward to great spring fishing.
