First time fishing this year, and first time at this lake.   Wind wasn't *that* bad when I launched.  First good cast, nice fish, 3 lbs, but gusting winds pushed me to the bank, I hadn't even hooked up the anchor yet.  Winds had to be 20+mph.  An hour later, I was able to work my around the side of the lake pulling the boat, and was able to re-launch, and orient the boat before the gusts put me back in the shallows.

Too windy to boat, so I did some bank fishing, and caught two more...one in the big lake in the shallows, one in the smaller lake past the cattails.

Nice property, clear water in areas that were not being hit by waves, a little far for me but I'll be back on a better weather day.
