Fished Malouf with fellow member Paul Prosser.  Weather forecast didn't look good but we went out anyway and all and all we made out pretty good on the weather and managed a few fish.  We fished from about 8:30 to 3:00 and pulled out just before it started raining hard so we stayed pretty dry for most of the trip.  The temperatures were falling all day from low 50's to mid 40's when we left.  We were fishing with fly rods only and struggled to find any willing fish of any meaningful size but we managed about a dozen bass with a few dinks, some pounders and maybe two that were in the two pound range.  This isn't a cull lake but if it were we would have only returned two.  We threw a lot of different flies and the bass ignored most of them but a plain ol' black wooly bugger seemed to do the best.  We caught most of the bass on the west (launch side) of the lake between the launch and the end of the tree line.  Kinda of a February day but beat working or sitting at home.
