Pam and I fished Post Oak on Saturday - breezy, blustery, mostly cloudy day in the 50's and 60's. After a few very chilly mornings, the water was only right at 50* and the fish were not really cooperating. We caught 6 LMB to 2lbs and 1 crappie. No pattern at all, fish seemed to be suspended and scattered and just not in the mood. Caught a few mid-lake and a few on the other side of the bridge. Nothing on the shoreline and no signs of surfacing or feeding. Probably caught 2 on an underspin/paddletail, 2 on a hard jerkbait, and 2 on a green pumpkin Z-Craw and one short fish on a Ned rig. Also, tried spinnerbait, lipless, jig, Senko, chatterbait, deep crank, and squarebill. I know there'll be a really good report from Post Oak very soon, but it was not our time this time! Thankfully we retired to a nice lasagna dinner (leftovers) in the comfortable, well appointed cabin.
