My son and I hit Martins Mill Lakeside this morning knowing that a nasty cold front was coming. We fished the deeper brushpiles but found the bass in the deepest open water of the lake hugging the bottom. We got in three hours fishing before the storm front hit. We caught 7 bass ranging from 2 1/2 to 4 1/2 lbs. They were all caught on 7.5 inch Z Man baits. The temperature was about 65 when the storm hit and within 5 minutes there was a raging wind, driving rain, and the temperature had dropped to 37 degrees. It was time to call it quits. Still a great day.
